She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald David Stocker and Jo-Ann Stocker. She is survived by: her husband William Akridge; her sons, Timothy B. Balonis (Kendra) and Jeff Balonis (Lauren); her grandchildren, Autumn Balonis, Aiden Balonis, Tyler Pacheco, Brandon Lee, Logan Hoy, Michael Hoy, Timothy Balonis (T. J.), Gracie Garrison and Jaxson Smith; her sisters, Vicky Banach (Ed), Stephanie Kita (Tim), Debbie Knight (Harold), Linda Remmel and Donna Sigley (Kevin); her siblings' children, Dana, Kerry, Nicole, Doug, Jack, Natalie, Brett and Andrew; her cousin Tom Stocker (Karen); and her pet Trixie. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Marie's honor to the Susan G. Komen foundation for breast cancer (1-877-GO-KOMEN) or the Children's Literacy Fund (CliF) (1-802-244-0944).
