He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Kremenak and Imogene Kremenak; and his sister Kit Kremenak. He is survived by: his wife Nila Pearl Norton; his children, John Mark and Dee Dee (Tom Longhway); his grandchildren, Simeon Longhway (Katherine), Annaleah Clegg (Garrett), Audrianna Montalvo and Benjamin Longhway; his great grandchild Sarris Clegg; his siblings, Sherel Ann Knesel, Sue Harburg, Paulina Grace and David; and his brother-in-law Dee Norton.
