She was predeceased by: her former spouse JC Fields; her husband David Jones; her children, Vernie Weatherton, Arthur "Spookie" Fields and Jay Jr. Jones; her grandsons, David Fields, Michael Fields and Aaron Weatherton; and her siblings, Lillie Mae Harris, Katie Mae Harris, Mae Ellen Butler, Raven Harris, Allen Harris, Jimmy Lee Harris, Bud Lee Harris and Benny Lee Harris.
She is survived by: her family Fern; her grandchildren, Larry Weatherton Jr., Christinia Zapata, Shawanda Weatherton, Corey Fields, Theotis Oliver and Candace Oliver; her daughter Mattie Jeffries (Melvin); and her sister Mae D. Harris. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, fifty-three great-grandchildren, forty-three great-great-grandchildren.
