“So sad to hear of Dottie's passing. Though we had lost touch in the past few years, I have many fond memories of fun times with Dottie in Clear Lake Shores. She was a true and caring friend to my daughter, the same friendship extended to me, and her kindness and generosity could always be counted on, as well as her laughter and the fun she brought to any gathering. She was a true "queen of socializing", a real character, and loved a good time with friends. She is missed.”

“In loving memory of Dottie Beth Cottingham. Mrs.Cottingham was my son’s kindergarten teacher, she accepted him mid school year to give him a chance to understand since he was being left behind in a spanish taught classroom. I was thankful for her accepting him. He is now a Sophomore in High School. Someone so special will not be forgotten”
