He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Young and Rosie Mosley Young; and his siblings, Elmer Young, Hubert Young, Vaudine Galvan, Johnny Wayne Young, Barbara Lindsey, Ruby Kadlecek and Molly Fields.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Ann Young; his children, Amy Young, Damon Young and Jeremy Young; and his grandson Matthew Young. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Morgan Cemetery (1 Morgan Cemetery Rd, Cleveland, TX 77328).
