She was predeceased by: her parents, R. L. Mettlen and Doye Mettlen. She is survived by: her daughter Salina Leonardt (David); her siblings, Ressie Jenkins (Mike), Tanja Joslin (John), Ruby Ford (Kelly) and Gene Mettlen (Wilma); and her grandsons, David Scott Leonardt (Jaycie Allen), Kurt Leonardt, Matthew Leonardt and Brett Leonardt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and a host of dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home (303 E Crockett St, Cleveland, TX 77327). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pace-Stancil Chapel (303 E Crockett St, Cleveland, TX 77327). A burial will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Security Cemetery (21158 TX-105, Cleveland, TX 77328).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Susan G. Komen in Mary Alice's memory, to continue the fight against breast cancer.
