She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Knight and Earnestine Knight; her husband Ward Phillips; her sons, Christopher Crisp, Thomas Harvey and David Harvey; her siblings, Janice Bingle, Mary Stephens and John Samuel; and her grandchildren, Christopher Crisp, Jr., Corey Crisp, David Harvey, Wayne Harvey, Kendra Harvey and Kenedy Harvey. She was also cherished by numerous great-grandchildren.
