He is survived by: his children, Max Bench, Rhonda Mae Maher and Leo Gilbreath (Eden); his grandchildren, Brandon Maher (Julie), Bailee Mae Bench, Brandi Maegan Maher, Katelyn Bench, Winter Gilbreath and Wilder Gilbreath; and his close friend Martha Uloth.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walnut Springs Baptist Church (152 4th St, Walnut Springs, TX 76690). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
