Cynthia Strange Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cynthia Strange of Clute, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Cynthia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Cynthia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Peterson (Laura) of Jones Creek, TX, Kisha Monroe (Jarrett) of Jones Creek, TX, Jquay Peterson of Angleton, TX and Delvanay Ware (Kenneth) of Katy, TX; and her brother Ricky Chapman of Shreveport, LA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dixon Funeral Home (1211 S Brooks St, Brazoria, TX 77422). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Peaceful Rest Cemetery (311 W Pleasant St, Brazoria, TX 77422).
