With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Silvestre Sauceda (Clute, Texas), who passed away on October 13, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Silvestre find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Sauceda and Felicitas Olivas Sauceda; and his son Juan Alberto. He is survived by: his wife Eloisa Sauceda; and his children, Silvestre Sauceda Jr. (Leslie), Norma Hernandez (Thomas), Jesse Sauceda (late Debra), Manuel Arroyo (Teresa), Miguel Arroyo (Elva) and Ana Perez (Joe). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Stroud Funeral Home (538 Brazosport Blvd N, Clute, TX 77531). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Angleton Cemetery (328 Cemetery Rd, Angleton, TX 77515).
