He is survived by: his siblings, Ollie Sikes and Elizabeth Witts Sikes; his wife Kay Kalmen Hare Sikes; his grandchildren, Rachel Samuelsz of California, Joseph Scott of California, Trevor, Dalton Sikes of Oregon, Abie and Amree Mejia of Texas; his great grandchildren, Micah and Zoe Samuelsz; and his siblings, Joseph Sikes (June) and Valna-Rue Sikes Bunch (Art). He is also survived by five children.
