She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Nelson and Billy Nelson; her husband Randy Russell; and her sister Debbie Floyd. She is survived by: her children, Carrie Hensley (Kerry) and Justin Little; her siblings, Garry Nelson (Debra), Judy McArthur (Phil), Tina Rogers (Sam), Gina Briggs and Terry Nelson; her grandchildren, Jerron Hensley, Dillon Hensley (Keisha) and Corbin Russell; and her great grandchildren, Graceyn Hensley, Rainey Hensley and Cole Hensley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamil Family Funeral Home (6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Buffalo Gap Cemetery (3226 FM 89, Buffalo Gap, TX 79508).
