Carol J. Lassila Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol J. Lassila of College Station, Texas, born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 1, 2026 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol J. Lassila to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her grandfathers, Gala and Bryan of Woman's Club; her parents, Stanley Tienter and Carolyn Tienter (Moon); and her sisters, Betty Wilkins and Shirley Kimmel.

She is survived by: her husband Dennis R. Lassila; her sons, John Roberts of Long Lake, Jim Roberts of Woodway and Thomas Roberts of Navasota; her daughters-in-law, Lori Roberts of Long Lake, Julie Roberts of Woodway and Amanda Roberts of Navasota; and her grandchildren, Chloe'Roberts of San Diego, Camille Roberts (David Hilleman) of Austin, Sylvia Roberts of Washington, D. C. and Thomas Roberts. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Hillier Funeral Home (4080 Hwy 6, College Station, TX 77845).

In lieu flowers, donations can be made in Carol's honor to the Alzheimer's Association or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
