She is survived by: her children, Felicia Benford, Djuna Jones, Joanetta Carter, Dana Carter, Josephus, Doris Carter and La'Trevia Grimes; her brother Douglas Carter; her grandchildren, Christopher Carter, Nicholas Carter, Felicia Laryea, Taylor Carter, Jordan Carter, Henry Jones III, Titus Jones, Trinity Jones, Ka'Marei Steptoe, Kamrence Scott and Kwentez Grimes; and her great grandchildren, Alanna Carter and Malachi Smith.
