He is survived by: his parents, Laura Root and Brad Root of College Station; his grandparents, Allen, JoAnn Root, Sherry and James Killingsworth; his uncles, Jeff and Joey Killingsworth; his aunt Bonnie Kunkel; his cousins, Lily, Hunter and Cash Kunkel; and his pet Zuma.
