He was predeceased by : his parents, T. L. McNew Sr. and Edna Murphy McNew Orr; and his sister Elizabeth Smith (Elizabeth Ann Miller). He is survived by : his significant other Elizabeth Ann Miller (Liz); his children, Saralyn Morris (Bill), T. L. "Kyle" McNew III (Michele) and Loc McNew (Courtenay); his grandchildren, Celeste Gossman (Travis), Holland Morris, Janette McNew-Hickerson, Miller and Murphy McNew; and also, Brayden Hickerson, Maddie, Ashlyn Gossman, Reagan and Mackenzie. He is also survived by Great grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 2201 Earl Rudder Fwy S, College Station, TX 77845.
