He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Curry Erskine and Norman Neal Erskine; his brother Thomas Erskine; and his siblings-in-law, David Jund and Doris Erskine.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Erskine; his sons, Russell Erskine of Wylie, TX and Neal; his daughter-in-law Vandi Erskine of College Station; his grandson Garrett Erskine of College Station; his siblings, Joe Erskine of Kosse, TX and Judy; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Truett of Marlin, Sally Jund of Gatesville, TX and Dianne Erskine of Agawam, MA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to First Methodist Church or The Historic Allen House, both of Marlin.
