We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2022, at the age of 77, Shirley Rae Akins (College Station, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Simon Fields and Emma Fields; her husband Joe Vantreese; her daughters, Pam, Anita and Sonya; and her grandchildren, Chas, Todd, Melissa and Scott.
