He was predeceased by : his children, Robert C. Kimmey and Yvette Kimmey; his parents, Terry Kimmey and Jewel Kimmey; his sister Imelda Duke (Buddy); and his aunt Pauline Kimmey.

He is survived by : his wife Dale Marie Kimmey; his daughter-in-law Shelly Kimmey; his grandchildren, Nicholas Kimmey (Samantha Kimmey), Vanessa Kimmey and Robert Kimmey Jr.; his great grandchildren, Penelope Kimmey and Roselyn Kimmey; his mother-in-law Della Biehle; his sister-in-law Jennifer Biehle Pletcher (Brian); and his aunt Ann Windsor.
