He was predeceased by : his mother Ella Mae Bragg Konley; his siblings, Jack Konley, George Konley, Clare Mulderink and June Felgenhauer; and his son William F. Konley Jr..

He is survived by : his wife Vivian Howard; his children, Charmaine, Michelle, Tina (Dennis Maxfield), Thomas (Rhonda), Todd and Pam (Ryan Carlson); and his grandchildren, Christina, Rick, Chara (Brian Yochum), Duane, William (Jillian), Bianca (Johannes Koberlein), Casandra (Valentin Ramirez), Virginia (Wes Coffey), Melissa, Christopher, Scott, Jessica, Erick, Heather and Devin. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
