She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pitts and Margie Pitts; her parents-in-law, Charles and Tyrena Jones; and her brothers-in-law, Dale Jones and Danny Lunsford.
She is survived by: her husband Arthur Jones; her children, Natasha Durden (Brian Durden), Ty Jones (Laura Jones) and LaDessa Powell (Matthew Powell); her grandchildren, Kingston, Jade, Emery, Avery and C. L.; and her siblings, Angela Lunsford, Renee Thornhill, James Latta Pitts (Loretta Pitts) and John Pitts (LaDeana Pitts). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel (637 W Van Alstyne Pkwy, Van Alstyne, TX 75495). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
