Amanda Jo Davis Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2025, Amanda Jo Davis (Colmesneil, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Bill, Mary Davis and Jewel Poindexter; and her aunts and uncles, Wesley (Johelen Poindexter), Charles (Shirley Poindexter), William (Janie Poindexter) and Wilbern Poindexter (Jerry Poindexter).

She is survived by: her parents, Jim Davis and Jo Davis of Kingwood; her aunts and uncles, Ronnie (Karen Poindexter), Donnie Poindexter of Doucette, Jimmie (Linda Jenkins) and Bob (Anne Davis); Brian Davis of Houston.

A committal service will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Egypt Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lighthouse of Houston or charity of your choice.
