He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Gonzales and Tomasa Gonzales (Rodriquez); and his siblings, Raymond, Ricardo Gonzales, Herminia Jiminez and Cristina Gonzales.

He is survived by : his children, Mary Margaret Gonzales Arguijo of Colorado City, TX, Nickie Gonzales of San Antonio, TX, David Gonzales (Sonya) of Loraine, TX, Henry Gonzales, Jr. of Kingsville, TX, Carlos Gonzales of Abilene, TX and Hossein Gonzales of San Antonio, TX; his siblings, Juan Gonzales of Colorado City, TX, Reynaldo Gonzales (Irma) of Colorado City, TX, Roy Gonzales (Lina) of Colorado City, TX, Cristina Morelion of Colorado City, TX, Natalie Rubio and Filogonio of Sweetwater, TX; and his close friends, Bill Crockett (Mona) of Colorado City, TX. and Lorenzo Vasquez (Linda) of Colorado City, TX.. He is also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (301 Chestnut St, Colorado City, TX 79512). A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at the Mitchell County Cemetery.
