He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack Hopkins and Ruth Hopkins; his siblings, Lonnie Hopkins and June Couch; and his granddaughters, Ashley Hume and Karen Stewart.

He is survived by : his wife Wanda Polley Hopkins; his children, Terry Hopkins (Cindy), Cheyney Hopkins (Angie) and Dinah Cannefax (Brian); his grandchildren, Hunter Hopkins, Micheal Hopkins (Laura), Meghan Benitez, Carl Linn (Angie), Lacey Hopkins (Chris), Chelsea Hogue (Stetson), Katie Fugitt (Collin), Skyler Hopkins, Ethan Cannefax (Rhonda) and Eli Cannefax; his great grandchildren, Emily Hopkins, Sean Davis, Ali Davis, Mason Davis, Jackson Lindow, Grayson Hopkins, Caelob Linn, CJ Linn, Kevin Luttrell (Maddie), Eric Luttrell, Trent Luttrell, Kinley Tweedy, Carter Hogue, Parker Hogue, Cooper Fugitt, Sawyer Hogue, Emery Kate Cannefax, Aria and Kai Luttrell; and his brothers, Victor Hopkins and Jack Jr. Hopkins.
