Marie Johnston Bonnette Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marie Johnston Bonnette of Como, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Rhea and Georgia Hays Rhea; her brothers, Larry Rhea and Donnie Rhea; her grandchildren, Rachel Harman and Christopher Harman; her brothers-in-law, Ron Smith and Kenny McAnally; and her former husband David Johnston.
She is survived by: her husband Lawson Bonnette; her sons, Michael Harman (Jean) and Jeffery Harman (Verlene); her siblings, Margaret Smith, Charolette McAnally, Connie (J. R. Young) and Jessie Rhea; her sister-in-law Peggy Rhea; and her grandchildren, Marshall Harman, Chelsea Harman, Laela LaCour, Paxton Moore, Jay Moore, David Moore and Loretta Paxton. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Rock Hill Cemetery.
