He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward "Sonny" Ernest Allen, Sr. and Alice Carolyn Clark Thousand; his stepparents, Charles Edward Thousand, Sr. and Dixie Allen; his brothers, Charles Edward Thousand, Jr. and John Allen; his stepsisters, Bernadette Thousand Huckabay and Charlene Thousand; and his daughter Cherie Sue Allen Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Adams Allen; his brothers, Larry Allen and Lynn Thousand; his children, Joel David Allen and Leslie Yvonne Allen; his children-in-law, Adrianne Allen and David Baker; and his grandchildren, Kelsey Baker, Madison Diaz (Jaime Torres), Avery Allen (Rowan Allen), Autumn Bellard, Riordan Baker and Nathan Allen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Christian Church of Conroe food pantry, an organization Eddy felt strongly about.
