She was born on May 1, 1971, in Rochester, New York, the daughter of Peter Anthony Kennedy and Jo-Ann Marie Carey Kennedy. She worked in the Healthcare profession for many years, which fit her "do anything for anyone" type of personality. Kristine was a fiesty individual that her family described as a "firecracker" in a 4 foot 11 inch frame! She lived for her grandkids and doted on them every chance that she could. She also was inseparable with her chihuahua, "Cheeka".

Kristine leaves behind her husband, Frank Kane, her father, Peter Kennedy, her children: Jo-Ellyn Kennedy Porter and husband Kevin, a son, Peter Kennedy II and a son, Michael Kane and wife Mikayla and her bonus daughter, Trish Kane. Other survivors include her grandchildren: Joseph Kennedy, Legacy Porter, Benjamin Lopez, Alexindria Lopez, Rhys Porter, Selene Kane, Payton Kane, and Kobe Brown. Other survivors include two brothers: Danny Kennedy and Robert Kennedy, and two sisters: Donna Dee Dostilio and Billie Jo Orlando and an uncle, Dominick Wollek. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jo-Ann Kennedy and a brother, Joseph Kennedy.

A memorial service will be held for Kristine on Saturday July 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Jones-Walker funeral chapel in Commerce, Texas with Bro. Terry Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends at the Jones-Walker Funeral Home beginning at 1:30 p.m.
