He was predeceased by : his mother Ida Lamphear (McFarland); his wife Lucy (Gonzalez); and his sister Jaqueline Jones of Nebraska. He is survived by : his father John Lamphear; his sister Betty Richards of Ohio; and his children, Virginia Lamphear of Salado, TX, John Lamphear III of Copperas Cove, TX and Edward Lamphear (Teri) of Vancouver, WA..
