Though Matt may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloise "Peggy" Franklin and James Edward Franklin; and his brother Christopher Franklin. He is survived by: his spouse Shiela Parker; his daughter Cortney Homan (Phillip Homan); his stepdaughter Jessica Heinzman; and his siblings, Susan Adames, Cindy Hull (John), Pamela Oswald (Dave), Frances Long (Ronald), Becky Janssen (Chris) and Michael Franklin (Ruby). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Copperas Cove Moose Lodge (2828 S FM 116, Copperas Cove, TX 76522).
