He is survived by : his wife Pamela Lonsbury; his children, Candace Foster, Charles Rex Lonsbury III (Sarah), Sonya Shernak (Brian), Tanya Bonnette, Crystal Lonsbury (Jason Kiscadon), Bryan Garcia (Morgan Cothren) and Victoria Garcia (Cody Villarreal); his grandchildren, Jordan Foster, Alaina Lonsbury, Mallory Lonsbury, Sophia Shernak, Presley Bonnette, Jagger Shernak, Caden Lonsbury, Lincoln Bonnette, Milla Garcia, Rowan Villarreal and Maxx Garcia; and his great grandchild Myles Foster. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, and a great-grandson.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Service - Yorktown (5921 Yorktown Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78414). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
