He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Edna and Guss Ludwig; his siblings, Gracie Lee, Alton Ray and Vincent Franklin; his granddaughter Shauna Lynn Boudreaux; and his great grandchild Gauge Calahan.

He is survived by: his wife Jo Dreyer; his children, Wesley Dreyer, Mark Dreyer (Bridget) and Lynda Cline (Jason); his grandchildren, David Dreyer (Bonnie), Dereck Dreyer (Ashley), Krista Dreyer, Michael Merrifield, Tiffany Calahan (Joe), Justin Cline and Rachel Cline; his great grandchildren, Savannah, Max, Leo Dreyer, Bryson, Presley Hancock and McKenna Calahan; and his brother Doyle Dreyer (Barbara).

Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Home-Aransas Pass (2003 W Wheeler Ave, Aransas Pass, TX 78336). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes & Crematory - Aransas Pass (2003 W Wheeler Ave, Aransas Pass, TX 78336). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Coastal Bend Veteran's Cemetery (9974 I-37, Corpus Christi, TX 78410).
