She is survived by : her children, Aida Garza, Maria, Carmen Mendoza, Jose Angel Mendoza, Hilda Guerrero (Ruben), Carlos Mendoza and Rosalinda Vasquez (Joseph); her pet Lucas; and her caregiver Debbie. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 20th 2023 at 4:30 PM at the Guardian Funeral Home Chapel (5922 Crosstown Access Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78417, USA). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 20th 2023 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
