He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita Chavira; his son Juan Alberto Chavira; and his father Rafael Chavira. He is survived by: his mother Juana Chavira; his children, Norma Amaya (Ramon), Evelia Chavira, Noemi Azua (Manuel), Erica Chavira (Juan Lopez), Emilio and Arturo Chavira (Judy Ortiz); his grandchildren, Luis Amaya Ramon, Max Emiliano Torres, Gabriela Chavira, Daniela J. Amaya, Arturo Chavira Jr., Joaquin A. Amaya, Emiliano Chavira, Rubi Amaya, Yris A. Azua and Izaiah Damian Chavira; and his siblings, Maria Eva Chavez (Alfredo), Evelia Reyes (Joel), Santiago Chavira, Sergio Chavira (Leticia) and Armando Chavira. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
