George Nicholas Paraskevas Obituary
We bid farewell to George Nicholas Paraskevas of Edinburg, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 9, 2025 at the age of 92. George Nicholas touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Paraskevas and Evangeline Paraskevas Vasos; his siblings, Magdeline Singer and Alex Paraskevas (Jean); his mother-in-law Anastasia Strates Paul; and his brother-in-law Sam Strates.
He is survived by: his stepfather John Vasos; his wife Peggy; his children, Litsa Guerra (Robert), Staci Jones (Scott) and John Paraskevas (Marci); his grandchildren, Megan, Dimitri, Matthew, Samantha, Madelyn and Austin; his great grandchildren, Louie and Pressley; and his sister Nancy Paraskevas (Pati). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
