It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Ruth Johnson (Corpus Christi, Texas), who passed away on April 25, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy L. Smith and Elizabeth Kitchen Smith; her grandchildren, Kendra Matthews and Dominic Caballero; and her sister Geraldine Lewis.
She is survived by: her husband Lester Johnson; her grandchildren, Benjamin Matthews of Chandler, AZ and Leslie Beyer (Terry); her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Caballero and Kai Beyer; and her siblings, Robert "Bobby" Smith (Cleo), Ellen Harper of Compton, CA and Othella Mumphord of Tampa, FL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
