It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Emory Cotton of Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Charlie Cotton (Suzanne) and Preston Cotton. He is survived by: his wife June Loosemore Cotton; his son James Arthur Cotton (Lisa Romero); his grandchildren, Venenzia Alexis Cotton, Victoria Ann Cotton, Lulalie Blakely Cotton, Noah James Cotton and Malko Blakely Cotton (Robert Maldonado); his great grandchildren, Emory Camille Brown and Elias James Brown; and his siblings, Frank Cotton (Debbie), Angela Cotton (Doug) and Abby Cotton (Steve).
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Service - Yorktown (5921 Yorktown Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78414). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
