He was predeceased by: his parents, Adeline Fromme Speed and Jimmie Speed; his brother Alloyd Speed; and his children, Terry Speed and Lori Speed Schwabe.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Leister Speed; his daughter Darla Speed Schwabe; his son-in-law David Schwabe; his grandchildren, Brandon Schwabe (Kala), Allison Schwabe Seideman (Michael), Colton Speed, Eric Jones, Justin Schwabe and Jordan Schwabe (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Ruby, Austin, Odin, Kyler, Leighton and Tanner; his sisters, Jeannette Speed Sedlacek (Gerald) and Marian Speed Ezell; his sister-in-law Claudia Crossland Speed; and his aunt Jacqueline Speed Isenhour. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request to send donations in Jerry's honor to the local food banks or Good Samaritan Missions as he was always helping those in need.
