He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Hand and Dolores Nevergold Hand; his wife Rose Marie; his sister Margaret Cameron; his son John Hand, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Matthew Gabriel and Michael David Buhman.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Addison (Bruce), Bill Hand (Suzi), Bob Hand (Deana) and Laura Nasis (Edgar); his daughter-in-law Cecilia Hand; and his grandsons, Bill Hand, Bob Hand, Brian Addison, Andrew Addison, Michael Hand, Joshua Hand, Bradley Nasis and Nolan Nasis. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
