He was predeceased by: his father George Mejia Sr.; and his brother-in-law Eddie "Bear" Soto. He is survived by: his mother Marcella Mejia; and his sisters, Rachel Silva George Mejia Jr. (Blanca), Graciela Rosales, Lisa Soto and Delia Hildebrandt Orlando Mejia (Frank). He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
