She was predeceased by: her son Jose Angel Gonzales; her parents, Santos Gonzales and Cayetana Gonzales; and her grandfather Benacio Z. Gonzalez. She is survived by: her siblings, Teodolo Pena, Sr. (Janie), Santos Gonzales, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, San Juana Gonzales and Virginia Castilla (Ernest) of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
