She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Etta Wheeler Laird and Rosser Elbert Laird. She is survived by : her children, Kathleen Day (Scott Oates) and Richard Day (Mary Beth); and her grandchild Rosser Laird Oates. She is also survived by her grandson.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sinton Cemetery. A memorial service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Seaside Funeral Home Chapel (4357 Ocean Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412). A burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 507 Cemetery St, Sinton, TX 78387.
