It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary J. Postgate (Corpus Christi, Texas), who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Doris Joe and Eli Joe; her children, Becky and Tiny; and her grandson Hunter Postgate.

She is survived by : her husband Major John W. Postgate, Jr.; and her children, Don Beed (Carrmon), John Postgate (Jenny), Juile Alexander (Mike), Mark Postgate (Kara), Jennifer Desanto (Steve), Skyler Postgate (Carlene) and Beverly Alexander (Neil).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Seaside Funeral Home (4357 Ocean Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery (9974 I-37, Corpus Christi, TX 78410).
