She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Joe and Eli Joe; her children, Becky and Tiny; and her grandson Hunter Postgate.

She is survived by: her husband Major John W. Postgate, Jr.; and her children, Don Beed (Carrmon), John Postgate (Jenny), Juile Alexander (Mike), Mark Postgate (Kara), Jennifer Desanto (Steve), Skyler Postgate (Carlene) and Beverly Alexander (Neil).
