He is survived by: his wife Frances Fitzhugh Overton; his children, Robert Patrick Wolter (Sara Webdell Wolter), Thomas James Wolter (Carrie Frels Wolter) and Jane Frances Wolter-Williamson (David Carlton Williamson); his grandchildren, Amy Cather (Daniel), Audrey Davis (Christopher), Elizabeth Skrobarczyk (Michael), Katherine Yarborough (Alan), Robert Williamson, Frances Williamson and John Williamson; and his great grandchildren, Ella Cather, Caleb Cather, James Davis and Emerson Davis.
