We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2021, at the age of 91, Ruth Penland (Corpus Christi, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mae Salveter and Drura Salveter; her brother Larry Salveter; and her sister-in-law Laverta Penland. She is survived by: her husband Lilburn Carl Penland (Rus); her sons, Carl Penland (Kim) and Dru Penland (Debora); her grandchildren, Jason Penland, Joshua Penland and Samantha Penland; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Salveter and Nancy Burnett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cimarron Place Health and Rehabilitation Center, Corpus Christi, Texas.
