With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verlee Shelton of Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on April 5, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Juanita Denmon and Joe Denmon; and her son Donald Shelton II. She is survived by : her husband Donald Bernard Shelton Sr.; her children, Venessa Shelton and Dwight Shelton; her niece Traci Pettis (Sylvester); her granddaughters, Cayla Shelton and Cydney Shelton; her great grandchild Kadence Sanders; and her brother Alvin Denman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home (5026 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78405). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Seaside Memorial Park (4357 Ocean Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412).
