She is survived by: her children, Sherri Thurman (Glenn Thurman) of Dallas, Kyle Pitts of Dallas and John Pitts of Kingsland, Texas; her granddaughters, Lauren Pitts of Austin, Jessica Pitts and Payton Thurman of Dallas; her stepgranddaughter Leslie Miller (Jarod); her stepgreat-grandson Brooklyn Thurman; her siblings-in-law, Lynn Pitts and Tom Dawson; her friends, Jennifer Pitts, Joey Shashay and Nancy Long; and also, Preston, Ryan and Dawson.
