He is survived by : his wife Kathy Wood Smith of Corrigan; his children, Larry Smith of Corrigan and LaDena Herring (Rance) of Corrigan; his sisters, Sue Johnson (J. D.) of Diboll and Molly Haney (Brax) of Lufkin; his stepsons, Kevin Wood of Wells and Kyle Wood (Brenda) of Lufkin; his grandchild Dakota of Corrigan; and his stepgrandchildren, Madison, Brayden Wood, Levi and Blake Wood. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
