It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Gonzalez of Corrigan, Texas, born in McAllen, Texas, who passed away on May 29, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Manuel Gutierrez and Gregoria Gutierrez (Tovar); her husband Angel Gonzalez; her children, Andres Gonzalez and Dora Gonzalez; her brothers, Manuel Gutierrez, Anastacio Gutierrez, Candelario Gutierrez, Pedro Gutierrez and Trinidad Gutierrez; and her granddaughter Christina Jimenez.

She is survived by : her sons, Jose Gonzalez (Alice) of Spring, Daniel Gonzalez (Sarah) of Corrigan and Jesus Gonzalez of Harlingen; her siblings, Jose Gutierrez of Michigan, Maria Frazier of Cleveland and Lydia Gutierrez of McAllen; and her grandchildren, Cindy Stephenson, Andy Gonzalez, Jeremy Gonzalez, Angel Gonzalez, Jose Gonzalez, Jessica Padilla, Araceli Padilla and Hector Figueroa. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
