She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Gene Roop; and her children, Herb (Danessa Roop), Irene Roop, Tim (Lisa Roop), Blanche (Blake Swadley) and Milford Roop. She was also cherished by 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
