She was predeceased by: her son Rocky Lynn Payne; her parents, Byron Monroe and Mattie Lois McCary; and her siblings, James Monroe McCary, Beverly Ann and Lois Elaine Nichols.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jarad Lynn Payne (Nadia), Meagan Allison Payne, Travis William Payne (Halie) and Samuel Baker; her great grandchildren, Kaleb, Garrison, Kai and Wrenly Payne; her husband Elvin Dwayne White; her brother Byron Glenn McCary (Terry); and her children, Ronald Dean Payne (Susan) and Robin Ranee Carpenter (Jimmy). She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
